Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Leander Film Festival, taking place November 11–15, 2026.
The inaugural Leander Film Festival is more than a five-day celebration of independent cinema; it is the beginning of a long-term vision to establish Leander as a destination for film, arts, creativity, and cultural tourism.
As a volunteer, you won’t simply be helping at an event. You’ll be welcoming filmmakers from around the world, supporting industry professionals, assisting award-winning guests, creating memorable experiences for audiences, and helping build a festival that will grow for years to come.
Whether you’re interested in film, event management, hospitality, photography, marketing, education, or simply giving back to your community, there’s a place for you on our team.

Every volunteer receives:
- Official Leander Film Festival Volunteer T-Shirt
- Volunteer Credential
- Meals and refreshments during scheduled shifts
- Certificate of Volunteer Service

16+ Hours
- Festival Pass (outside scheduled shifts)
- Complimentary access to Industry Panels
- Networking opportunities with filmmakers and industry professionals
24+ Hours
Everything above, plus:
- Letter of Recommendation (upon request)
- Invitation to the Volunteer Appreciation Reception
32+ Hours
Everything above, plus:
- Official Founding Volunteer Certificate
- Recognition in the Official Festival Program
- Recognition on the Festival Website
- Invitation to the Closing Night Awards Reception
- Priority consideration for future Leander Film Festival leadership opportunities
Volunteers are required to commit to a minimum of 8 hours during the festival.
Most volunteer shifts are 4 hours, and volunteers are asked to complete at least two shifts.
